dealing with bad feelings among people

There's someone in my life who's making me a bit bitter lately. It's nothing very serious, but I want to address it with this person before it snowballs into something worse. So, I want to know: What is root of my bad feelings? How should I deal with it?

what is the root of my bad feelings? the fool

The Fool represents the beginning of a new stage, leaving stability behind, being a free spirit, and embracing risk.

In this card, a young person seems to be heading out the door. They are naive and overconfident. The dog and the bird on their cloak seem to be fighting, lots of ruffled feathers and bared teeth. The young person is completely ignorant of this. They don't seem to care what's going on around them.

This card makes me feel agitated. I want to ask the figure in the card: Don't you see what you're doing? Don't you know how much negativity and bad feelings you're igniting in others? It feels like you're stepping on and over me so you can prop yourself up and make yourself feel at ease.

how should I deal with it? 9 of wands

Nines represent reaching full maturity and the completion of a cycle. Wands represent energy, passion, and competition.

In this card, a row of plants are withering and dying. Their stems slump downward in exhaustion. Their leaves and petals fall away. One plant, however, seems to thrive. It still has its petals and stretches itself above all the others. But its vitality isn't total. It, too, has petals that are falling away. It may prop itself above all others, but it's just same. It's just a late bloomer.

To be honest, this reading wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting cards about envy, arrogance, conflict, and confrontation. But what these two cards show is me, a cranky old veteran, and the person in question, a inexperienced and naive novice. The source of my bad feelings is frustration that this person doesn't understand my struggles because they haven't needed to struggle through it yet. Their overconfidence agitates me because it feels undeserved. But the Nine of Wands reminds me that this person is just green. I myself had Fool-like tendencies once; I just got wiser. In time, this person will too. Perhaps I should let it be and let experience teach its lessons.
